1-Year Limited Jewelry Warranty

 

invisaWear Technologies warranties this product to be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year following the date of purchase (“Warranty Period”). This limited warranty does not cover failures due to abuse, accidental damage, such as water damage, or when repairs have been made or attempted by anyone other than invisaWear Technologies and its Authorized Service Centers. A defective product meeting the warranty conditions set forth herein will be replaced or repaired at no charge in either of two ways:

 

The first, which will result in exchanges only, is to return the product to the retailer from whom it was purchased (provided that the store is a participating retailer). Returns should be made within the time period of the retailer's policy for exchanges. Proof of purchase may be required. Please check with the retailer for its specific return policy regarding time limits for returns or exchanges.

 

The second option is to take or send the product (prepaid) to an invisaWear Technologies owned or authorized Service Center and the product will, at invisaWear’s option, be repaired or replaced. Proof of purchase may be required.

 

This warranty does not apply to accessories. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. EXCEPT AS SET FORTH ABOVE, IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, INVISAWEAR TECHNOLOGIES MAKES NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND OR NATURE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THIS PRODUCT OR ITS MERCHANTABILITY, CONDITION, SUITABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ALL OF WHICH ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED.

 

1-Year Limited Warranty for Self-Defense Products

 

invisaWear’s warranty obligations for the following self-defense products are limited to the terms set forth below: 

 

invisaWear warrants that its self-defense products shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and recommended storage, for a period of one (1) year, except as otherwise set forth herein (“Warranty Period”)For self-defense products that have a manufacturer’s expiration date, the warranty from defects in materials and workmanship applies only to defects that arise prior to the expiration date shown on the product and when such product has been stored and handled in accordance with its manufacturer’s guidelines. Any claim under this warranty must be received before the expiration date shown on the product or the expiration of the Warranty Period, whichever is earlier. Notice of a claim may be made by contacting customer service at

 

If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the required time period, invisaWear will, at its option, sole discretion and to the extent permitted by law, either: (i) exchange the product with a product that is new or that is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or (ii) refund the purchase price of the productIn all cases, proof of purchase may be required.  When a product is exchanged, any replacement item becomes the customer’s property, and the replaced item becomes the property of invisaWear. The customer may be responsible to pack and ship the product in a manner specified by invisaWear, to prevent further damage, accidental activation and maintain the integrity of the product.  The customer shall not return the product without obtaining a return authorization from invisaWear The customer shall retain responsibility for any loss or damage until the product is received by invisaWear. Shipping costs associated with said exchange shall be borne by the customer. 

 

Products replaced under warranty are covered only for the remaining balance of the original purchase warranty period; product replacement in no way extends the original warranty.  If a refund is warranted, said refund will only be transacted upon invisaWear’s receipt of the item, with shipping prepaid by the customer, and the product for which the refund is provided becomes invisaWear’s property.

 

This warranty is limited to self-defense products unaltered by the customer, even if the self-defense products are packaged or sold with other invisaWear merchandise.

Under no circumstance shall invisaWear be responsible for incidental or consequential damages with respect to economic loss or injury to person or property, whether as a result of breach of warranty, negligence, or otherwise. invisaWear will not be responsible for the result of careless handling or unreasonable use, or from failure to follow instructions relating to same.  This warranty gives customer’s specific rights that may be supplemented by other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not allow time limitations on an implied warranty, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage, so the above exclusions may not apply. In the event any disclaimer or exclusion of implied warranties are not recognized or enforceable in a particular state, any implied warranty is limited to the expiration date shown on the product, if applicable, or the Warranty Period and any action must be commenced within 60 days following the expiration the applicable date.
